ASUS ProArt PA279CRV 27" Does not Work with MACBOOK Pro

 The last intel macbook pro /mbp does not show the new second screen ASUS ProArt PA279CRV 27", the display settings from the display joystick wont start as the signal is not detected. 

Solution: USB-C did not work, eventhough the cabe was fine. I tried to connect the HDMI-1 port of display with an adaptor (hmdi to usbc)and it detected the signal.

Conclusion: Try tall the cables that come with your monitor with different port types.

I dont know why usb-c does not work. maybe mac issue.

والقاتل لثاني اربع فتياة هو عزت الناشر للروايات وهو ابن عم المؤلف عصمت.  والدافع هو الكتاب الجديد الذي كان تحت طور التاليف والمستوحى من قصة قتل اخت عصمت واسمها سناء والتي قُتلت عن طريق الخطا في مسرحية مدرسية على يد الفتيات الاربع الاخيرات. فالمؤلف عصمت رغم تنازله عن القضية الا انه اراد ان يؤلف رواية جديدة مستوحاة منها وفيها تُقتل الفتياة الاربع عقابا لهن على القتل "الخطا" لسناء. والرواية كانت تحت التاليف ولا يعلم بها سوى الناشر عزت والذي قتل عايدة عقابا لها على مضايقتها للمؤلف وقتل الفتيات الاربع تنفيذا للرواية  الاخيرة وانتقاما لمقتل ابنة عمه سناء اخت عصمت. انتهى!

psWRT router with parental control misleading marketing and trash quality

 The router I received came with a lite version of the firmware, even though the website indicated that the parental control is part of the price I paid. I had to pay 50 USD to get the full firmware. Very misleading. The calendar feature is buggy on the lite version because it keeps resetting. I contacted the customer service to resolve the issue, but they did not help. Very disappointed. Wasted money and time

Error Copying File or Folder to a Chinese Server

 the error indicates: unspecified error

This ALWAYS happens when I copy a big file from outside china to a Chinese machine or server using windows remote desktop copy/paste or rdp! the file is not really big, but anything larger than say 40MB will throw the error. 

This is due to internet censorship I guess. Use vpn or zip and divide using 7zip then transfer the files using ftp, then unzip on the server side.

Google Play Store Not Removing/Deleting Credit Card

 I have had an issue: going to payments methods under my pixel's google play store to remove one does not show any 'remove' or 'delete' option. Going to 'more options' was taking me to a web page called GPay under my google account, which showed a different list of payment methods: it did not show my PayPal, now a 'deleted' credit card that I was seeing in the google play store all the time, in fact, I wanted to delete this very cc from the google play store permanently. The solution: Install the GPay App from google on your android, there you will see the exact payment methods under the google play store but with 'remove' option. It seems the web page of GPay is pointing to a different DB compared to GPay App/Google Play Store App.

I contacted google and hope they are gonna fix it.

AdventureWorks database contain a production.billofmaterials table.

This is used to store a hierarchy of ingredients that together form a product. Take a bike for example: it consists of many parts. Some parts are themselves consisting of parts. The part that has subparts is an assembly, while the leaves parts (without any children/sub parts) are called components in the table. Bike1 consists of say a body1 and wheels1, the wheels consist of tube1, tyre1 and rays1. The 1 here to indicate the type/id.

The same wheels1 can be used with bike2, which say consists of body1 and wheels1. 

The table mentioned stores the wheels1 tree (tube1, tyre1 and rays1) twice. Once under the bike1 and another under bike2 (duplication of bom records). This approach has got pros and cons: it duplicates data and tree maintenance and updating. Another approach is to store wheels1 tree and then refer to its root once from the tree of bike1 and another time from the bike2 tree.

Android 12 exclamation mark on mobile data internet

 pixel 4a here: after upgrading the mobile data does not work. Resetting did not work neither restarting. Here is the solution: take the same out of the device and put it again if it is a physical one (nano). This will force the carrier and phone to match their settings again.

How to fix Your DNS server might be unavailable Error in windows

This happened on my machine when two devices got the same lan ip. The windows message in my case was not precise. if you go to cmd and run: ipconfig /all

you will see that there is a '(duplicate)' string beside the lan ip. In my case the lan ip was manual. Setting it to automatic resolves the issue or you can choose another ip or you can switch off the device that has the same ip (you get this information from the router itself) then switch it on and it gets a different ip. Glad I caught the issue in half an hour and solved it, it was very disappointing.

To send stool sample from Germany to abroad, I used UPS:
You have to provide a commercial invoice with a minimum value regardless of the fact that stool sample is worthless. I put 10 EUROS and made my own commercial invoice from the UPS template I found online. If you do not provide the invoice, your envelop will be returned to you. Mac Preview Error Saving PDF "Error while printing"

Solution: (Thanks to GeekyGirl007 comment bellow)
"The solution is to go into your Settings -> Printers and Scanners -> right click anywhere in the left hand box that lists your printers and a pop up will come on "reset printing system", click this. It will erase all your printers and scanners, but it solves the issue completely. You can then reinstall all your printers/scanners as needed. Hope this helps someone!"

I upgaraded to Catalina macOS. Now when I try to save a document as pdf from Preview, I get an error: "Error while printing" as shown bellow

I found out that the error happens only with Preview. After troubleshooting, I found out that the error occurs only if the selected printer is not online! Although you are merely saving a pdf, still the real printer should be online. If it has the lightning symbol (see bellow), then you get the error. I am keeping my default printer always online now. Hope apple fixes the issue.

اسقاط الجنسية العراقية للتجنس بالالمانية بالطلب

يتطلب الحصول على الجنسية الالمانية بالتجنس (موضوع الولادة يختلف) مبدئيا التنازل عن الجنسيات الحالية كافة ما لم تكن اوروبية او سويسرية او هناك اتفاقية للاحتفاظ بين الدولتين. غير ان بعض الدول مثل ايران او المغرب ترفض اسقاط الجنسية مما دفع المشرع الالماني لوضع هذه الدول في قائمة استثنائية و اعفاء مواطنيها من الاسقاط

لمواطني الدول الاخرى تقديم طلب احتفاظ مع طلب التجنس اذا كان مبررا كأن يخسر املاكه اذا تنازل عن جنسيته الاصلية.

اما العراق, فينص القانون العراقي على عدم امكانية التنازل مالم يقدم الشخص اثبات امتلاكه لجنسية اخرى. مما حدا بالولايات الالمانية الى اتخاذ اجراءات مختلفة: بعضها توقفت عن الطلب الاسقاط من العراقيين وبعضها يسمح له  بالتجنس بالالمانية اولا و الاحتفاظ بالعراقية مؤقتا معها ثم يتم ارسال طلب التنازل عن العراقية في غضون شهرين للشخص و الا تسحب الالمانية حسب القانون.

يذهب بعدها الشخص الى السفارة او القنصلية و التي تضطر لقبول الطلب (لان العراقي اصبح يحمل جنسية اخرى). لكن المعاملة تستغرق اكثر من سنتين غالبا, و لان القانون الالماني يجيز الاحتفاظ بالجنسية اذا كان التنازل يتجاوز سنتين, فحينها يمكن سحب طلب الاسقاط.

ملاحظة:

اثناء السنتين تحتفظ السفارة بالمستمسكات الاصل, و كل ستة اشهر قد ترسل بعض المدن استفسار عن المعاملة للشخص فتزوده السفارة بورقة تفيد ان المعاملة قيد الانجاز. بعد سنتين يمكن مراجعة السلطات الالمانية لطلب كتاب ازدواجية\احتفاظ يؤخذ للسفارة العراقية لاستعادة المستمسكات.

Why 500 euro Notes Are Out of Circulation

If you ever have visited Europe, you will be frowned upon if you try to pay with a 500 euro notes. In fact many shops, supermarkets refuse to take them since a long time. It is a stigma to use them and it is thought that they are used by criminals. While the notes are absolute legal and favorate mean of cash by tourists (light and practical to hide in the pocket from thieves), in EU people are free to refuse whatever notes they dislike apparently (this should not be the case and should be prohibited by law, but read further to know why it is being encouraged).
Now I would accept that justification if it were only the 500 notes. But, suddenly, the 200 euro notes are being stigmatized and refused by many stores as well. Worse, in some EU countries, it is not allowed to use cash (regardless of the bank note size) at all for purchases more than say 5000 EUR. They are limiting cash use.

Recently, starting 2019 precisely, the 500 notes wont be used any more and will be taken out from circulation gradually. I bet 200 notes will face the same fate soon.

By stigmatizing banknotes, they actually aim to remove cash. Why?
If your bank pays you no interest rate or worse imposes fees for services and accounts (negative interest rate), then you can take your money in cash (that is what the majority has done) and keep it safe somewhere. If there is no cash anymore, you have no other risk free choice (of course you can invest in stocks... and take the risk). By eliminating cash money, people are forced to use banks services even if they end up getting zero or negative interest rates.

USB 3 on VirtualBox

I run win 7 in a virtual machine. it was not recognizing my usb 3 device (data traveler usb 3.0 stick), it was greyed out. I had to shut down the windows of the VM, then I switched to usb 3, still not working after restarting.

if you have a difference cpu (the cpu of the vm is the same as that of the host machine), then get it from the relevant page.

then usb was showing as attached to the virtual machine, but nothing happened in win 7 (no message or error, the usb started to show under diskpart list in cmd console)
simply open cmd console, type diskpart , list volumes

This second issue is because of ExFat format that I did on the host (not windows). Somehow the windows cannot recognize it. Now I had to use the clean command of diskpart:
first select the problematic disk:

select disk0
clean
if you still have issues, grab the usb and format it under another windows system, then insert it in the virtual machine and it will work.

how to delete a device from airdoid

if you cannot see an x beside the device name in the options/settings of your airdroid web sessoin:
-sign out from the web session on the computer
-sign in on the new device: install the app on the new phone, sign in by selecting web session and entering your credentials.
-now go back to the computer and refresh the page, you will sign in to the new device in the pc and can see its content. Now if you open the 'devices' tab, you will see the new device and the old device. The old device is now removable. Ditch it. Done.
